Our Organizations

The various organizations of the Mar Thoma Church in Malaysia provide the channel through which the mission and vision of the church can be accomplished.

Zonal Assembly

The Zonal Assembly consist of elected representatives of the various parishes and organizations. Zonal assembly members are elected for a 3 year period. The current term is from year 2002-2005. The Zonal Assembly meet annually as the highest decision making body of the church. The Zonal council consisting of all the vicars, the zonal secretary, the zonal treasurer and three council members function as the decision making and operational arm of the church.

Pandamaran Mission Centre

The Pandamaran Mission centre continues to be the church's main mission centre where various outreach activities are undertaken.

 

Zonal Adult Fellowship

The Zonal Adult Fellowship is a fellowship that caters for the needs of all adults above the age of 20 in the Zone. Activities include annual camps and other enriching seminars on family, marriage and spirituality.

 

Zonal Sevika Sangam

The Zonal Sevika Sangam is a zonal grouping of all parish level Sevika Sangam organizations. Activities catering for the needs of the ladies include camps and retreats and regular fellowship meetings.

 

Zonal Sunday School

The Zonal Sunday School is a zonal grouping of all parish level Sunday Schools. Activities include annual camps and retreats.

 

Annual Camps

In addition to the Annual Youth Camp, there are a number of other camps that is organized on a zonal basis such as the Tamil Camp, the Sunday School Camp, the Sevika Sangam Camp and also the Adult Fellowship Camp.

 


 
 

News

Adult Fellowship Seminar at Banting Mar Thoma Church on Sat Nov 13th organized by the Zonal Adult Fellowship.

Klang Church Adult Fellowship has arranged a series of marriage and family seminars on 2nd Oct, 16th Oct and 20th Nov. The seminars would be conducted by Bernard and Margaret Lye from the CANA organisation of the Catholic Church.
